I personally would not have supported his decision to relist a company tainted with this scandal, and no apparent business plan or direction. How can you vote for a plan of which you have no details whatsoever?

I would have supported him if he had simply resolved to return cash to shareholders, after paying himself a fair commission for the result he ultimately achieves.
