The RA does exist in law and unlike the SOA, does not need a judge to 'authorise' it before it is created. It was created by the signing of an agreement and the subsequent filing the writ at the High Court.

The Opted Out shareholders never said they would wait till the company completed its recovery. Indeed, they pointed out that they would actively recover from both the company and the founders. At the same time.

You and the other Scheme shareholders had the opportunity to join the Opt Outs. If you had read the Scheme thoroughly and taken legal advice, you would have seen that it was far more beneficial to reserve your rights, rather than sacrifice them for an uncertain promise of a token payment sometime in the future. You cannot expect anyone to 'look after' you, unless you expect the 'Nanny State', so you must do what is right and what protects your rights.

The people in the Scheme chose poorly. They are now trapped by it. You may get another chance in the future, but that is dependent on two factors. Whether or not Langbar is liquidated and/or you are allowed entry to the RA. The RA members decide who joins them in their action. They took the time and trouble to create the RA, fight for their rights and arrange their own legal agreements.

I fear that many on here who have not been polite or just downright rude, will find that they 'burnt their bridges' and/or 'shot themselves in the foot'. The chickens are coming home to roost. I suspect that a lot of posters may find that by attacking the RA members and the LAG, they destroyed any chances they had of making a recovery.

There is a very agreeable symmetry to all of this!
