I am not a Lawyer so cannot argue points of Law with you.However I was a company secretary for many years so have a little practical experience.What I am curious about is what difference your presence would have made if you had been allowed to attend the meeting.It has already been pointed out that proxies have no right to speak at meetings, only vote.


Perhaps I have missed something but does the RA now exist in Law.I thought that a Judge had to approve the creation of an RA.It has always been my belief that any Judge would "look through" an RA if it was composed of shareholders who sought to privilege themselves above other shareholders.I also thought that no attempt would be made to create the RA until the SOA was successful or are you just going through the motions.I know myself and some others might have considered joining the RA if we had been given the opportunity to study the documentation and be assured that it would be legal.In the absence of such assurances it was too dangerous to opt out and be left with nothing.

Looks like we now have to wait another year before any outcome.The wait is bad enough but even worse is the time it allows for the SOA/RA conflict to distract DB from his real purpose.
