Whatever the truth and the rights of this it will only make matters more difficult for everyone by you going to the press Nigel. Why you feel you had to rush off to them I do not know. Well I can guess I suppose but by saying you are happy to work together with DB you expose yourself for what you are. You make no real effort to do so and using the press so quickly to put DB in the wrong hardly suggests that you have any interest in working together. If there is any publicity from this it will no doubt mention your name as the champion of us all which at least will boost your already massive ego.
I presume that by causing problems for the company you feel it will help us get our money back? My view is it would be much better if we let them get on with their efforts to secure as big a return for all of us as is possible. Legal wrangles cost money which will come out of the pot from which we all will hope to dip into. Even if DB was in the wrong here, which I doubt (because I know how you can twist things to suit your case) he is it might still be better for us all if you stopped trying to use up the company's funds defending any future legal actions.
If you truly have been unable to represent some people's views at this meeting then it is a shame. Hopefully any problems can be sorted out without cost to the company or them of course.
