I am on the hit list as well.As a premium client I would have expected ADVFN to contact me if they were under pressure to release my details to a third party.So far nothing but perhaps I expect too much.The big issue for all of us is that if ADVFN are forced to release the information any person who does not like what another has posted will be able to force the release of personal information through the courts.The BB's on ADVFN ( and all the other providers such as iii )are full of comments that might upset others so people will have to be very careful what they post.It will effectively end open discussion on all BB's.I have lost count of the number of times directors of plc companies on these BB's have been called all sorts of things that could be construed as libellous.I will wait and see what happens before commenting any more.
