In certain circumstances, a "pooled" nominee can work to someone's disadvantage under particular corporate events, but your holdings are not in a pooled nominee - they are in an individually designated nominee, thus this won't apply to you.
There are of course more limitations in terms of the information you receive if your shares are in nominee name, which is probably the way in which you are most affected by the issue at hand. You won't get information directly from the Registrars and are reliant on us to provide information in relation to corporate events where you are given a choice.
