SP last email of the year 2005, from III board mister MD.
I know people get annoyed at mailing Pearson, but I sent him a final one on the 31st to get things off my chest, I’ve written the investment off but will keep an eye on how things progress. As for Pearson, it’s amazing how he sees himself as ‘discovering the fraud’ rather than apologizing for his mistakes…and ‘please don’t bother me anymore’ attitude. Note how he avoids all the key questions in my email below… 2005 was certainly a painful lesson in investing…!

Subject : RE: question
Dear Mr
I hope you saw that we announced just before Christmas, the appointment of
two recovery experts to the Langbar board. This considerably strengthens the
expertise in asset recovery and the board believes it is too soon to assume
no recovery. The problem with the scale and complexity of what has happened
is that it will not be a quick process.
In the future, David Buchler, one of the recent appointees as executive
chairman, wishes to deal with shareholder queries as the board is very
concerned that our recovery process and the criminal investigation should
not be prejudiced by the leak - and misinterpretation - of sensitive
information.
His contact details are on the RNS announcement.
Regards
G Stuart Pearson

Mr.Pearson,
I read in 'your' Real Affinity results something about potential
compensation from Langbar for the admin costs involved with the failed
takeover? Is this likely?
Am I right in thinking that apart from some persons invloved eventually
going to jail there is next to 0% chance of recovering any of our funds??
I still can't believe RNS stating monies transferred to ABN when ABN bank
has never heard of, or ever done any business with Langbar...
Hope you take the time to respond to these points.
A very disappointed investor...
