Both src123 - The market makers have 3 months as a minimum to settle a contract I think.I was without a share certificate for nearly 9 months once on a suspended stock pending clarification of its financial position.I bought the day before it went under I did exactly the same to try and get the contract cancelled and guess what the certificate is now framed as are these in lovely cabinet of AIM disasters.!
Basically if it comes down to money back or a dud share cert you know what youre going to get!!
