Something very very fishy going on at the Takeover panel. I spoke with Mr Burford yesterday from The Takeover panel and he specifically stated that he had to call Mr Rybak about his obligations to disclose his trades after Rybak had already sold a few large tranches. Today and in total contradiction Mr Burford stated that because Mr Rybak was a major Langbar shareholder he spoke with Mr Rybak at the very beginning of the takeover period to inform him of his obligations to disclose. Yesterday he said that Rybak was unaware that he had to disclose. Someone's telling fibs. If Mr Burford told Rybak at the very outset then there is no reason whatsoever why those announcments should have been late other than to let the big boys pile out or pile in with short positions.
