Grahamite2 is the only person who asked for winding up. I don't think he is short. I think the shares should resume trading again - they will find their own level and move with any success that Buchler may have. It would also force Tradex etc to explain to their shareholders what has happened rather than ignore it that might get some more pressure on the case.
There are 2 options for the betting companies. Either the company will relist at X p or it will be assumed to relist at 0.00001p and bets will then be closed off.
Do you have any evidence to support the "wide spread shorting" claim you have been repeating continually since after the suspension started? Any sizeable short positions by the betting companies would have needed to have been declared by 1% + holders. Look at the Scottish Power RNS, they list every short/long derivative position. I don't think there was a lot going on - but if you have some evidence to prove me wrong, please post on this thread.
