whether he could be proved as negligent in a court is another matter. We still don't know how the scam was done and at what stage nand who else was involved.
If it turned out to be his fellow directors in cionjunction with BdB staff,.....would he have been negligent?
If it was people outside LGB completely?
I don't think anyone can decide unless we know what was done, by whom, when and how.....then you can get a gioiod idea how it could have been caught and thus if it was negligent in not taking those steps...
Tthe RNS issue is compoletely different. If those who issued the RNS believed it was true and those who checked it had no reason/facts to question it (for the yardstick they were using to measure the RNS) - then the RNSs is fine even though it was what started the PIs piling in amd it was completet and utter bollocks
