I agree with you that it is absolutely absurd to blame "the Jews" as if, wholly fantastically, there were some Zionist conspiracy.

But you can blame those who knowingly misled you. There has to be an explanation for the RNS's that proved untrue. I would hope that some investigation by the authorities (which? where? what jurisdiction?) will show just who has been responsible. For a start, I think it is extraordinarily unlikely to be Mr Pearson.
