not for me i know but there are two sides to this. If you hold the cert (you are on the register)0 you get to vote and, millions of idiots get to mail you about hearing aids and donkey sanctuaries.
i am a crest member and so hold in my own name, get to vote and can use DRIPSs and scrip divis. Often, nominees won't let you do those things. I still vote and go AGMs etc with a letter of presentation from my broker that confirms my holding and that they won't vote my shares.
