holdontight.If your settlement date was after 12 oct you are in the same position as me where as you have paid for ownership of shares but have not even been registered as a shareholder.ie you have no voting rights should an agm/egm come up also should any funds be dished out your name will not be on the register.

There is a chain .If people get on to their broker their broker should get onto the market maker in turn the market maker should get on to CREST who should get onto the registrars.
Who ever you speak to at either capita or your brokers will know nothing as they are little more than call centre operatives.They will tell you nothing can be done which is why it is important that lots of people get onto the FSA or the financial ombudsman about this.
