Profit improves
Kewill Systems Plc, a UK-based maker of goods-tracking software whose clients include Mazda Motor Corp. and Motorola Inc., said fiscal first-half profit “significantly improved” as it won orders and revenue rose.
The international trade unit performed “strongly” and won new contracts in the half ended Sept. 30, the Leatherhead, England-based company said in a Regulatory News Service statement. First-half results will be released Nov. 15.
About 70 percent of Kewill’s sales comes from U.S. clients with Internet retailing units. Kewill’s U.S. operations are known as Kewill Solutions North America.
Based in Marlboro, the division makes software used to label and track shipped products. (Bloomberg News)
