Any business needs a good mix of professionals. It seems that with just the right mix was never achieved. Ideally a good front man is needed, the seller, the patriarch, the president. He must however work within boundaries, fiscal being very important. To do this he must have accurate and up to date info. He must not be allowed to ignore this info if it is saying slow down. A company can never be taken forward merely by an accountant, they may have the info but rarely have the entreprenurial skills and charisma to move up through the gearbox. With just we have to decide if given the correct mix do we have a successful business. Maybe DN is the right man for a specific job, maybe WS is the right man for a specific job. Was WS given the info? did or was he allowed to ignore the info? Dn will never be a front man, neither does it seem will IM. If the product is good and future revenue can overcome current cashflow probs, then all that is needed after funding is the right team. Biggest problem may be picking the team and or, who picks!
