Celtic, I did not realise it was so complicated. it is actually very simple. Here is a list in date order.

1. I receive an ex-gratia payment along with others. Which is tax free.

2. I was given a contract by the company to construct a database for the share applications after the offer was closed. (would have been million times easier and 100% accurate if I was asked to do it during the share offer but there you go) this was just work to me no different to any other work I get in my field. I did the work, invoiced the company, got paid, paid my taxes. and that was it.

3. I receive a further ex-gratia payment. Which is also tax free.

As explained before, the second ex-gratia payment did not have a receipt, letter or acknowledgement attached. So I could not prove to the IR that it was an ex-gratia payment. So they assumed it was income and asked me to pay tax on it which I did. Sorry for coming on so heavy but if someone makes false accusations about you, you react badly as well.

1. I have nothing to hide. I am happy to help fully with any investigation.

2. I would be happy to pay back the ex-gratia payments. It is not a significant amount to me and paying it back would not hurt me one little bit. (it would really hurt some of the others but that's their problem :)

I hope this clarifys the situation and I eagerly wait requests from the authorities for further information.

With regards to CJ No I do not know when he will answer you. Yes he is my mate and yes I do and will support him because he has never lied to me. Until that is proven to be incorrect I will always support him. People who have lied to us do not have the face to post anymore. Personally if I was CJ I would ignore you too. Maybe if you changed your attitude a bit, kept a more open mind, stop making wrong assumptions and accusations, he would answer you. Just because he does not help you to sleep soundly at night by telling you that 'we are working very hard for you' , 'The deal is making good progress' and 'we will relist next week' does not mean he is lying.
