ITM Power in early-stage talks to market low-cost electrolyser, fuel cell


18/10/06 LONDON (AFX) - ITM Power PLC said it has entered into early-stage
discussions with third parties to bring its low-cost electrolyser and fuel cell
products to market.
The company said the products could provide the technology "necessary to
convert intermittent low-value renewable energy (wind, solar) into a reliable
non-fossil energy supply".
"ITM have identified multiple applications for this technology and have
entered into early stage discussions with third parties about possible
collaboration in order to bring these products to market," said chief executive
Jim Heathcote.
