This kcom has long been a pain in most peoples wrong buys, mine included.

It is in a better shape now than its ever been since 2002, in my opinion,

the last attempt at a takeover, started at 55p. and if one should emmerge now this will start from these levels above 70p, brokers were always tipping it up to 80p on a normal years trading, and if consolidation should re-emerge again by some bidder we wil be in a stronger state of affairs, especially with an increased divi.

as a company ,it may not ring bells and want to set the world alight. but as a company which is growing again and is not going to go away, we should see a steady climb to 80p......Ok there will always be a bit of profit taking by some and m/m's will always take that as an opportunity to milk it backwards a few pennies, but the climb is alreardy in place now...

You must not expect great shakes from KCOM,we don't. we are sitting here waiting to get our money back...

it will be a good year for us long term holders I am sure
BT has just posted increased numbers today o its broadband, and I expect KCOM to do the same..have faith like us all here..

you say in your last paragraph that we are in the same place now as last year, well thats right. but to new blood that bought in at 55p in september, it realise a 30% gain which is not to be sniffed at,

Also it was the drift down from the audatious attempt at a cheeky takeover, which was never on at 85p.

We will have to wait a bit longer , but it will be worth it. hopefully now any bid would have to come in at a £1 a share or above.........imho
