Kingston Communications has signed up another major customer for its mobile technology service.
Developer the Sewell Group has equipped 30 employees with Blackberry handheld mobile communications devices on KC's network.
The Blackberry is a small device that allows people to read their e-mails, surf the Internet and make phone calls on the move.
Sewell is working on many major projects in Hull, including the Preston Road Village Centre in east Hull.
Director Paul Brooke said: "The nature of our business means members of Sewell's management and operational teams regularly spend a significant amount of time out of the office, meeting with partners and visiting our developments.
"Having access to e-mail when we're out means we can stay in touch with what's happening across the company.
"This allows us to react quickly to resolve issues that arise, which in turn means we can provide a higher standard of service to our customers."
The company has also given Blackberries to maintenance staff.
KC won the deal, which also includes 30 mobile phone handsets and contracts, over Orange.
Mark Conway, head of business marketing at KC, said: "We're delighted to be providing employees of the Sewell Group with the means to increase their flexibility and productivity."
