bobby.ifa- I learnt a long time ago that it does not do to follow newspaper tips, at least that is my experience. I guess that applies to tips generally. If I read something that looks useful I tend to wait and research it in the meantime. If it is a buy tip you don't want to be in the herd as there is a good chance that after a few days the buying pressure will tail off and likewise if a sell is given, once the sellers are done the price can rise quite quickly.

I haven't bought into vog yet as I need to do more research but I guess if its gas reserves are anywhere near the higher estimates (guesses?) then the price must have a long way to go I would think.

I reckon the best way to make money in the stock market is to invest in companies you think can grow earnings for a long time and be prepared to tough it out if necessary. Hopefully that is what protherics will be able to do but I still class it as a risky stock. We aren't there yet with cytofab or voraxaze.

It is my largest holding but I know I am taking a big risk.
