Why issue at 0.5p? Why not at 2p or 3p since you seem to be in the realms of fantasy in any case.
Unless my L2 screen has been disrupted by fog, there is appetite in the market for 200K shares at 0.4p (that is 20% less than 0.5p).
It is unlikely, therefore, that there is appetite for 400 Million shares at 0.4p
To get a placing away you would need to be at least 30% further below market if you could do so at all - maybe quite a lot more. Therefore you should calculate your imagined placing at a share price of 0.3p or below.
However - you ignore a more fundamental truth. It would be extremely unlikely that a company like WTV could attract sufficient shareholder appetite to put up money for what would have to be 40-50% new equity. That is the EQUIVALENT OF AN IPO (many AIM offerings are smaller even) and with the added disadvantage of a dog of a reputation, endless management changes and a business plan that has changed more than the departures board at Heathrow.
If they can't attract an institutional shareholder as things stand, what makes you think they will find one to underwrite this placing??? You seem to think that the market is some kind of automatic machine for share purchase and that they can just issue at will - complete nonsense.
On todays view, shareholders are in DEEP TROUBLE INDEED and I would expect to see this drop a lot further. I say this as a holder who has recently added - I will be dumping what I have got as soon as feasible.
