Dutch media mogul Jon de Mol has added to his holding in media focused investment company Investinmedia and a US rival has picked up more of struggling recruitment company Parity Group.
* De Mol, the creator of the Big Brother concept, has picked up another 100,000 shares at £16 million Investinmedia, taking the holding of his Talpa investment vehicle to 3.5 million shares or 21.4%.
Shares in the company have fallen from 138p at the beginning of this year to as low as 82p before staging a recovery to around the 100p level.
In June, the company announced a reduction in profits from £2.1 million to £955,000, reflecting a smaller contribution to profits from associate companies. However it did pay out a 2p dividend compared with nothing the previous year.
