The City seems half dead, iv been there not many lurkers, the morning buses and tubes was empty. Looks dead till the new year, Jarvis was exciting today i must add.
Too many rows on the Afn threads though D4E bla bla bla.
I was thinking of getting in first thing tommorow (emotions), looks good for more rises, until i reminded myself im not trading anymore. It could easily reverse ....
Best to grow capital slowly ...
Talking of "slow" and patience...some good long term investments are..
ACE
RAB
MPH
PPR
ACS
TOU
Im also going to Add ISYS to that list ... although its stalled in recent weeks, i think it has a long way to go in 2005, and in Jan it will kick off with the institutions buying again. I think recovery is on its way.
ACS is also a wee bit risky, as trading conditions remain a tad "uncertain", fundamentally its very much undervalued. I think the others you will get a good return over the long term if you bought at todays prices and just held. Buy stocks when no ones interested sell when the herd arrives. Thats how i believe you make a killing from the markets.
Cheers
