I am an affiliate and niggle is a merchant.

When sales are good we keep quiet and when things are quiet we moan. I only had 3 sales in the uk across the whole af,uk network, but there are another 25,000 affiliates and if another 25,000 affiliates only made £50 commission yesterday, it would be great.

I dont know what part of the country you are in, but, on holiday in london, oxford street was teeming with people, the underground was jammed packed, busses jammed pack and best of all our buggy broke, so I had to hold our baby the whole afternoon.

I came home and had no patience to do more shopping, but my wife did a bit of surfing

There are trends that seem to follow the whole market and 25/26 decemeber is not the ideal day for online shopping.
