Internet Business Group 2006

Was in Morrisons doing the weeks shop at 7:00p.m. last night. It was not much above normal. Girl on the till said it had been quiet until after tea, so it must have been quieter earlier. Girlfriend called in another Morrisons this afternoon and said it was very quiet and certainly no busier than a normal day. Walked the dogs passed Tesco tonight and the car park was barely 1/3rd full at 5:45, possibly even less than normal- this was a small one with hardly any non-food goods. I suspect online grocers will have had a bumper year, especially those with non-food offerings to make gift shopping easy. That seems to rule Morrisons out - I don't think they have an online store! I expect Tesco will have had a very good online Xmas as I suggested a month ago.
