super - indeed may be a signal strength point although as any terrestial transmission there will probably always be areas where a signal deadspot occures. However, DAB is a robust signal becuase tramnsmitters can be coinsidered as signal aiding in that they all us the same frequency. The timeing is such that a receiver can effectivley use the energy from two transmitters in marginal areas of both transmitters. FM, AM etc does not have this capability as carrier frequqcny shift is required when moving thru the covergae area of 2 transmitters. So at least in principal the deadspot issue is lessened for the DAB type of digital radio. Overall then it more robust as a trasnmsion medium quite apart from the addiotinal facilties it can and no doubt will enable over time.
