NEWS news as it were at ATEI Earls Court Jan 28th?

I saw The Sammy / IGT link on Xmas eve as well-no confirmation on IGT site and even with word/language translator theres no fathoming what the Japanese article means

Sammy of course already have a very strong relationship with Arisocrat the worlds No2 video slot maker(who exclusively use IMG PowerVR MarkVI platform)

The Sammy English site is not showing much news but there are DAILY additions to the Japanese site and the American site is also interesting

Sammy are a really progressive and HUGE Japanese company(have a look at their factory tour on the English web-site-awesome) who have major aspirations on the World gaming business both in hand-held consoles/pda/arcade machines as well as their core business of Pashinko and Pashinslot machines

The System X hardware that Sammy Hitachi and IMG are developing should be well worth the wait!!-slated for PRODUCTION in 1st quarter 2004 and already in prototype silicon IMHO

In the meantime Sammy are also deadly serious about the gaming software business as well-hence the purchase of 22% os Sega

2004 is going to be one hell of a year
