Xbox 2 and PS3 Speculation Ahoy!

"I find this genuinely quite horrific given that the Xbox has only been out what seems like the flicker of an eyelid. Speculation is already abound about who’ll be partnering with the Redmond giants for the second incarnation of the green and black thing! Xbox owners must been tossing and turning in their beds (no pun intended) in a cold sweat at the thought of having to fork out all those hard-earned notes in the not-so distant future once again…

Apparently, Microsoft are playing arch-rivals AMD and Intel off-against each other, over their choice of CPU to power Xbox2, the speculation being that because of Nvidia’s close relationship to Gates and Co, Intel are sweating while MS dally over their new graphics-on-CPU plans. Interesting stuff certainly, though purely conjecture at the moment."
