Lob .4sh. The name change is just natural progression. Argo Cards+Ortis +IDD = Artis. (Poland) Toshiba+Toppan +IDD =TTi Cardtechnology.(Toshiba and IDD have joint share of about 45% each) Cardbase, (profit making) is solely owned by IDD. They have changed the name,because that is exactly what they are becoming-a Group. They have strong links with KeyCorp, Hitachi,ST Micro, to name but a few. There may be additions,or maybe one day be swallowed up by one of the larger working partners. Who knows? Either way,is good news.
ALL of this are just my sentiments and views only, am sure there will be something on their website soon,if not already.
