What a dog! My losses are such it's not worth selling. Just shove in the back drawer and hope IDD gets taken over.
I used to think the same way until I realised I had about 25% of my money tied up in shares that had seemed good bets at the time but had not performed to my expectations. I asked myself whether I would buy the same shares today and those that I wouldn't, I sold. No regrets.
I believe it is always worth selling because the cash raised can help you begin to recover some of your losses and there are plenty of good opportunities around at the moment.
