HOWAY THE LADS 2005-2006

I think this match is a very difficult one to call. Newcastle look awesome in attack and one gets the feeling that if they shoot from anywhere in the Mackems half then it will go in! Kelvin Davis is playing like 'wor lass.
On the other hand......if Arca plays he will terrorize Boumsong and co. and make no mistake, Sunderland are coming to win this one. They will attack non stop and they will run for 90 minutes.....commitment and concentration will be needed by Newcastle.
Add to this the fact that ALL the pressure is on the Toon and the Mackems have nothing to lose so this makes the betting on Sunderland almost irresistable. Whatever the outcome this is definitely going to be a real cracker and I would not bet on 0-0 with your money!
Golden chance for Owen to show his class as he must earn more than the whole Mackem team put together. Personally I would leave Solano on the bench for this one.....it is too valuable a game to experiment with putting him in a new side.
Roll on Sunday.....I can't wait.
Prediction is difficult, but if I have to then it's the Mackems second win of the season and a 'Derby' double.
Newcastle 1-2 Sunderland.
