Downloading music for free is killing the market for the younger buyers but a combination of rampant piracy and huge volume supermarket sales is killing the market with the older buyers (not forgetting that us old gits buy huge volumes online). Piracy is undermining DVD price points. Parents visit supermarkets 50 times a year and find both music and DVD's 30% cheaper than the specialist chains......You visit a supermarket 50 times and a specialist music chain once or twice, who gets most of the sales ?
But like any large cap there will be a long trade to be made and that will be just after the fall following the xmas trading update in Jan.The bounce should be good for at least 30 points.

The nastiest point in the trading statement was the admission that they have thrown in the towel and slashed margins to try and compete. Thats going to fundamentally hurt the company going forward and says they cant answer the multiple threats. Long term its a stinker.
