Healthcare Enterprise Group PLC ("HCEG") was notified on 8 December 2006 that
FMR Corp and its direct and indirect subsidiaries, and Fidelity International
Limited and its direct and indirect subsidiaries, both being non-beneficial
holders, have an interest of 25,617,043 ordinary shares in HCEG, being
approximately 9.31% of the issued ordinary share capital of HCEG of 275,016,720
ordinary shares.
