This thread is hard work for an honest investor putting up objective questions.
I appreciate my handicap of being an 'internet investor' and what with the 'cultural difference' that I am clearly saddled with but...
You really need to do some more research on HCEG Plc. They already own a large international distribution operation in the UK. To quote the Safa-IPS website ...
"Our dedicated export team supplies a full range of pharmaceuticals, medical sundries, decontamination products, hospital equipment, first aid products and surgical dressings worldwide. Orders for any variety or quantity of product can be effectively consolidated into a single consignment for destinations worldwide. We specialise in delivering ‘total packages’ in single consignments."
'Taking control of their distribution chain in SE Asia and the Far East is wholly consistent with what HCEG Plc have done in the past.'....WHY TAKE CONTROL OF WHATEVER YOU MAY CHOOSE TO DEFINE AS A "DISTRIBUTION CHAIN? What is 'the past?' Is there not a conflict of interest here potentially? SAFA-IPS is HISTORY.
"shrek has addressed the matter of sales ... they are better than initially expected in Thailand"...Well that's not the response I was after. I haven't commented for research purposes- just opinion/ comment info.
"My worry is that if you buy your distributor with no sales reporting to date, what non-performance might you be hiding? And if you are buying to hide then you probably have major problems."...is this not a valid concern?
"You are looking for trouble where it doesn't exist. I also find the logic you employ confusing ... maybe it's a cultural difference."...surely looking for trouble in the absence of factual information is the byeword of investment...
Anyway I would appreciate an objective structured reply to my questions which I will rewrite in full if necessary.
