Makes no difference now whether they get approval..you can buy it anywhere in Europe and America with doctors approval or the right contacts
In America cannabis is a schedule 1 drug, so importing Sativex from Canada is a felony that is punishable by up to 5 years in a federal prison. Compare this state of affairs with a possible future where medical insurers would pay for the Sativex prescription. Can you spot a difference?
Andrea Barthwell is a welcome recruitment to further GW's position in the states but her background (as that article shows) and obvious mercenary morals may work against her with her former advocates. She has powerful contacts, but until I see progress in the states I'll just say that it's better to have her on our side that opposing us.
I'm not going to debate europe as a single entity because the tolerance of cannabinoids vary wildly from country to country, but just looking at the UK you will have seen the references to MS BBs where people are saying that their doctors are refusing to prescribe Sativex. Scare stories, like the recent coroner's report, will not endear doctors to prescribe Sativex at their risk. Do you honestly think a doctor is going to prescribe a drug off-label until it is approved. And you still think that approval makes no difference?
