A little comment, about something I don't fully understand.
The world's largest zinc mine, Red Dog Alaska, is only able to ship zinc for approx 100 days a year - ice prevents access to shipping at other times.
We are now in the months when Red Dog is unable to ship, so I would have expected the drawdown of LME stocks to have accelerated? Or does that happen a little later, once local stocks from the period (recently ended) when Tech Cominco could ship from Red Dog are exhausted?
