On the IC share tipping front a tip in that magazine is considered a kiss of death by a good number of people. I can recall their New year share tips from a few years back when they also picked 6 shares to sell for the year,titled Bridesmaids every one. When the year was over the bridesmaids had beaten their 6 shares to be bought by a mile. With egg all over their faces and very reluctant to print anything about it I contacted Neill Collins at the Daily Telegraph who got one of his Scribes to print an article about it in City Diary.
This finally shamed them into printing the smallest of addmissions of their shortcomings. Needless to say they have never repeated the exercise.
But of course a tip in Techinvest would be far more relevant.
