Rocksource and their Electromagnetic resonance technology would be very useful to further define the targets on ELP's properties, so far they have 3D and AVO.
Would be an interesting farm-in that one, I have had MDL on my watch list for years and waiting for the right deal to come along for them. A granby/Medoil partnership could be very interesting. My main interest in GOIL was their focus and experience in the north sea, these guys have already been there in the creation of a large NS E&P and have been working some excellent deals (free carrys) for us so far. I could see some consolidation coming in the NS, there are so many companies now operating in the area and so few rigs. I would like to see a GOIL/EO. venture.
Our EDR joint venture could be interesting too, they had a very good strike rate last year. Any one of these three wells in the current programme could have a meaningful impact on GOIL, especially Guinea. Anglesey also looks to be in an excellent location, on trend with a number of producing oilfields, we should hear about that one not too far into the New year imo.
