I suppose there is a remote possibility of this happening, but it seems very unlikely because
a) the two sides are so far apart. You are claiming every penny, even interest for God's sake, and Buchler cannot agree to anything like that without a gross betrayal of the other shareholders.
b) Buchler has, as yet, absolutely no idea of the total recoveries that will be achieved, which could be anything from nothing to £70m. It would be very difficult to assess what an equitable or practicable offer might be. It is hard to see him offering more than £700,000, subject to full recovery from Rybak, which would be a very poor return for the RA after its costs are taken into account.
