I wonder who lurks behind the two investment companies - VORSATEL AND BRICK LANE?
My Vorsatel search popped up a photo of Alisher Usmanov on the front page.
Alisher USMANOV: European confederation of fencing and president of the federation of fencing of Russia chair
Company Vorsatel Hauldings Limited
Brick Lane is the home of Russian-Jews, so there's likely to be a connection...
Jewish Brick Lane
In the late 19th century, the streets around Brick Lane were dramatically transformed by an influx of Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe. New synagogues, kosher butchers and restaurants opened, and a rich Yiddish culture emerged, with its own newspapers and theatres.
Personally, I would not now invest in any public quoted company with Usmanov connections. It is clear that the only reason to list on the UK sharemarket is to fleece private investors of a few million each time. These guys don't ever use a listing to increase shareholder value. They only use the listings to sell their assets to the public and then buy them back a few years later at a greatly reduced price. This is all done through insider deals hidden behind a labrynth of temporary companies - usually overseas companies.
