US$1 million increase in Chinese Order
Global Marine Energy plc, ("GME"), the oilfield services business, announces
that its US-based subsidiary, Patriot Mechanical Handling Inc, ("PMH") has been
awarded an additional $1 million worth of orders by Dalian New Shipbuilding
(Dalian) which is based at Dalian in Liaoning Province, China.
The initial order, which we announced in September, now has a total value of
$3,286,000 and is for four CTU's (Conductor Tensioning Systems) on new vessels
being purchased by Noble Drilling, Seatankers and COSL. Additional options
are being considered for the vessels which could further increase the order
value.
Patriot has also obtained a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to supply Dalian
with additional subsea handling equipment over the next 12 months.
