In our technological era, outright ownership is increasingly giving way to what I call fractional or timeshare ownership. That's why DVD rental is booming, thanks to online companies using a monthly subscription model. I see this as a possibility for computer games. So, a profound shift in the business model is on the cars and pushing pre-owned / trade-in model is just a prelude to this.
