LOL, I really had to laugh today when I went into my local Game store here in N.I., there were big red sales stickers on everything, the shop was very busy with about 40 people in shop and about a dozen or more queing up at the tills.
What I found funny was that I noticed "Worms 3D" on xbox was priced at £29.99 in the sale, well it was only £19.99 last week, before the sales, when I was in browsing. so with sales like that and no reduced margin even in the sales the figures will be exciting to say the least.... can't say that every title has been marked in price that way but Worms 3D was one that I noticed because I bought it from games website on release and it did sort of stick in my mind.
And bigmo we've heard all that before about competitors squeezing margins but it has never materialized yet.
