GAME for a laugh (GMG)

well, that was Christmas for another year... mixed opinions on how retail has gone this year... some retailers have lost their way and Christmas will be the final straw. Overall, retail shares are strong with many showing further rises over the past week on trading optimism.

"The sector was also helped by news that the closely watched Retail FootFall Index yesterday showed that shopping numbers rose 17 pct year-on-year on Boxing Day."

I'll be happy when GMG can put 2005 behind them and look forward to 2006.
