I think the rule is that we are supposed to test 10k three times then on the fourth occasion close above. This is its second attempt but I think it will stay at above because of the stronger dollar today. It's been the main drag on the Dow given the excellent numbers we've had out of the US recently. My guess we close around 10,050."

Look here cheesymonkey the weakness of the dollar has been the secret behind the dow. This is because the dow is valued in Dollars ie as the Dollar gets weaker it buys less DOW or anything else for that matter, take a look at the POG or even property in Bagdad.

The Dollar has less credibility than equities and so soon after Enron!
Oh dear :-( If you had been investing sterling in Wall St over the last 12mths you would be worse off than investing in FTSE once you account for the currancy depriciation.

Do the decent thing cheesy stop moaning and bet on the DOW £100 a point (Best of both worlds).
