FWIW I think this will be very good, in time. Although disappointing to see gains "bleed away" I could not have topped up to the level I'm now at if the sp had continued to climb in a more orderly manner, so I'm holding out for what I first thought - only it will come later and I'll get more because I've more than doubled my holding at some very cheap levels. I was very enouraged to see the post from btgman expecting good things by end Feb. Putting this in context with an sp in the 50s sounds very good. What seems to happen is people get impatient, then discouraged, and then the whole thing looks like a failure, but all the right things are going on behind the scenes and one day it will be fine and everyone and his dog will be falling over themselves to get a piece of the action, while those of us who added at these levels will be smiling happily. I see it rather like a reversal of the Emperor's new clothes - suddenly everyone will see this was beautifully clad all along but not everyone could see it. Happy and prosperous 2007 to all.
