I Guess I should try and explain this Hawkwind Phenomenan...

However it continues to Exist

And seems to be getting a lot more popular.

The thing is that all the musicians who have played in Hawkwind always seemed so completely skint - as did most of their audience

But it didn't matter

And it still doesn't matter that much, providing that the Band Got a Decent Slice of The Revenue Earned Tonight From The People Who Turned Up To See Them.

They Probably Didn't - So They Will Do It Again Next Year And Every Year Until They Die.

Which is Probably The Best Any Musician Could Hope To Achieve.....

From Their Audiences' Perspective - and Probably Also Their Own.

Hawkwind Are Still Playing And Still Very Much Alive...

Their Light Show Tonight Blew ALL The Competition Away - Probably Done For Next To Fuck All.

And They Did Lots of New Material Too
