I was standing near a busy road, and I felt the heat.
At that moment I knew you were wrong and that we are
adding net heat to the world at an ever increasing
scale.

Iraq. Do we have the right to impose a "peoples" democratic
movement on a people who had no say on the matter but they
would die as a result? I would say the answer is definitely NO.
However
if the ex-iraqi leader was a threat to the stability of the region and
millions had died due to UN sanctions not working, the whole
situation becomes very grey in terms of what to do.

Do we have the right, after doing this, to walk away from that
country if the people there have now voted for democracy, and
its new leaders want us to stay? I would the say the answer
is in the balance.

The problem Blair has was selling the war in terms of "weapons of
mass destruction" when none were found. What the war appears to
have been was two fold: a) humanitarian guesture (aka Bosnia)
that has gone very wrong. b)A political gambit to get western
democracy into the middle east (in the balance).

Because we were not told the truth and Blair, like a Catholic Priest,
sold himself as a kind of Vicar (his arm movements and presentation style)
and thus any lies we are doubly unforgiving. Had he been a Tory,
we would have assumed that it was all lies, and not been at all bothered.
What did him in was acting like a priest.
