What you are failing to see (IMHO), and possibly understand is that prices rise and fall over a period of time. If that wasn't the case and graphs all followed your pattern then every Company would be trading at 0p per share.
Try looking at a few graphs over a reasonable time period and it might open your eyes a little.
Come on start 2003 on a more positive note.
